Dr. DeAngelo Richardson is a husband, father of four, and advocate for single mothers. Raised fatherless in poverty in Detroit, Michigan, he faced tremendous challenges, including living homeless for four months and witnessing an attempted homicide on his mother at age 13. These experiences shaped his strength and determination. Dr. Richardson served in the U.S. Army, deploying to Afghanistan in 2012-2013 and went on to earn a Doctorate of Education degree while battling drug addiction. After surviving five near-death experiences in two years, he walked away from a business that grossed nearly $2.5 million to be more present for his family and to rediscover spiritual alignment in following Christ. He would later go on to be featured on 5 billboards in the Metropolitan Nashville Area as a doctoral graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University.
