In the world of personal finance and spiritual leadership, Eli Jackson is a rare example of someone excelling in both. With seven years of experience as a financial advisor at Edward Jones Investments, he has built a thriving practice focused on helping professional in medical, education, HR, and government fields in Baltimore and Howard County secure their financial futures. At the same time, his deep faith and commitment to ministry have positioned him as a trusted Bible teacher and pastoral intern at Baltimore Bible Church.
Eli specializes in guiding professionals through the complexities of wealth management, retirement planning, and financial security. You can find him on LinkedIn, getting to know residents in the community, hosting networking events, and monthly financial seminars.
“I focus on helping clients make sense of their finances so they can build long-term wealth,” Eli explains. “Many professionals have the income but not the strategy, and that’s where I come in.”
But his reach extends beyond one-on-one advising. Through financial wellness education seminars for churches, schools, workplaces, and nonprofits, Eli is helping the black community better understand investing, debt reduction, and financial independence. “Financial literacy is key to breaking generational cycles of debt and building a secure future,” he says. “Educating people about money empowers them to make informed decisions.”
Alongside his financial work, Eli is deeply committed to spiritual growth and biblical teaching. As a pastoral intern at Baltimore Bible Church, he is preparing to launch a Bible study in the Mount Royal area of Baltimore City in the Spring of 2025 with the long-term goal of planting a sister church in the next several years. “My work in finance is about stewardship, but my calling in ministry is about shepherding,” he reflects. “Helping people grow spiritually and financially allows me to serve the whole person.”
His foundation in biblical teaching is strengthened by his academic background. A graduate of The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California, with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Eli is now pursuing a Master’s of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles. His dual expertise in finance and ministry reflects a balanced approach to both material and spiritual well-being.
Beyond his professional and spiritual work, Eli is a devoted husband to his wife of 15 years and a proud girl dad to a toddler. Balancing career, ministry, and family life is no small task, but it’s one he embraces wholeheartedly. “Family is my anchor, my backbone, and my first ministry” he says. “It’s the foundation that allows me to serve others with integrity and purpose.”
As a Black leader in both the financial and faith communities, Eli Jackson is creating a legacy of empowerment. Through financial education, spiritual guidance, and authentic leadership, he is equipping individuals and families to thrive — not just in their bank accounts, but in their hearts and homes. “When people have clarity about their finances and confidence in their faith, they’re empowered to live with purpose,” he says. “That’s the legacy I want to leave.”
With a clear vision, strategic expertise, and a heart for service, Eli Jackson is redefining success — one financial plan, one sermon, and one life at a time.
