Men To Watch 2025 honoree Greg Campbell

Greg Campbell grew up in the industrial city of Flint Michigan where he developed his hard work ethic. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he earned his degree in Telecommunications and film and minored in Journalism. His journey behind the mic started over 30 years ago in Television as a reporter for both news and sports in Flint at WEYI TV 25, which eventually led him to his current home in sunny Tampa, Florida. In Tampa he worked at Bay News 9 where he covered events such as the Super Bowl, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final four, and the NHL All-Star game. Greg soon found his true calling in life when he made the transition to voice over.
Greg is a 2022 Telly Award winner in the category of promotional videos on the 1954 Project and is the voice for the 2021 Emmy Award winning documentary Shaw Rising about the oldest HBCU in the south. He has done national commercials for Ford which aired during the Kentucky Derby, Kumho tires featuring former NBA All-Star John Wall and National Radio spots for the Tony Evans Training Center (Ministry). Greg is a storyteller and his deep distinctive voice can be heard in many audiobooks and also on the sleep app Better Sleep bedtime stories. Greg also has served as the Master of Ceremonies on several occasions for the Tampa Bay area Dental Association.
He’s a devoted family man to his wife and two daughters. Greg has dedicated his time as a voice coach and mentor to others seeking a career in the industry. He has volunteered his skills as a instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
