Men To Watch Awards 2026 honors Troy James
Troy James is the founder and CEO of Velora, a Harvard-Certified Executive Leadership Coach, and the creator of the Pathfinder Method, the framework that helps leaders separate identity from performance. He works with senior corporate leaders, directors, and high-performing leaders. Most often, that is Black women VPs and executives. He reminds them that their ascent and impact has been interrupted, not erased, by the current moment.
Troy's work focuses on those impacted by the system, not the system itself. He helps leaders restore the connection between identity and purpose and awaken the discernment that holds under pressure. His book, Faith at the Intersections, is the formation. The Pathfinder Method is the activation.
He spent 21 years inside Starbucks, finishing as Senior Global Inclusion and Belonging Strategist. He founded ALL.IN., the workforce and community impact movement recognized with a 2023 Certificate of Congressional Recognition for touching 145,000 lives across 83 cities.
