Men To Watch Awards 2026 honors Undrey Bostic

Undrey Bostic is a collegiate dining director, innovator, leadership strategist, mentor, and 22 year military veteran with an extensive background in leadership, policy, and community engagement.  He has served since 2013 in collegiate dining leadership across various universities including Georgia State University, Emory University, University of Georgia, and currently Georgia Institute of Technology where he oversees a budget of about $27 million, over 200 employees, and provide dining services for several thousand students, staff, and faculty.

A native of Georgia, Undrey previously served almost 22 years in the Army and Army National Guard having deployed twice to the middle east (Iraq and Kuwait), served in Europe and the Caribbean, and served on stateside assignments in multiple states. He was awarded multiple accolades including Meritorious Service and Commendation Medals, Campaign Medals, and Georgia Commendation Medals.

Undrey is active in both the professional and larger community. He has mentored for Newton Mentoring Inc with Newton County Schools since 2021. He serves as an elected member of the Staff Council at Georgia Tech, volunteering on the Employee Health & Wellness and the Compensation & Benefits committees. He is also a Master Resilience Trainer and professional development trainer. Undrey has been a member of the Citizens Advisory Board for the Department of Energy Savannah River Site, served years as a volunteer with the Children’s Medical Center in Augusta, the American Red Cross in Augusta and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Undrey holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S) in Adult Education & Leadership from Regent University, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Luther Rice College & Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety from Mercer University. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Adult Education and holds multiple certifications in leadership, human resources, logistics, and food safety.
