
Dr. Kimberly Moore is a visionary leader, workforce innovator, and education advocate
with over two decades of experience in transforming organizations and empowering
leaders across various sectors. As the Chief Innovator and Principal at Envision Moore
Consulting Group, a national strategy consulting firm, Dr. Moore focuses on guiding
organizations through pivotal transitions, particularly in the areas of education,
workforce development, and innovation. She is passionate about catalyzing leadership
initiatives that foster innovation, equity, and forward-thinking strategies.
Throughout her career, Dr. Moore has been recognized for her ability to turn complex
challenges into actionable solutions, particularly in cross-sector collaborations, work-
based learning, and scaled workforce development efforts. Her leadership roles have
spanned the academic arena, including serving as the Vice President for Workforce
Innovation for over a decade. Her work in this field has been nationally recognized by
the Bellwether College Consortium, where she was named a top 10 finalist for
workforce development program best practices in consecutive years, with programs
identified for replication.
Additionally, Dr. Moore has held the position of CEO for a regional workforce and
economic development organization, consistently achieving impactful outcomes for
communities, businesses, and learners. Her contributions have earned her numerous
accolades, including the Aspen Rising President Fellow, the Idahlynn Karre Exemplary
Leadership Award, Leadership Pacesetter, and recognition as Innovator of the Year.
Dr. Moore served on the FAMU Board of Trustees for over a decade, including eight
years as Vice Chair. During this time, she oversaw the Budget, Finance, and Facilities
Committee. She also served as the inaugural Career Pathways Council Chair,
advancing pathways for students across the K-20 system. Her service extended to roles
such as Chair of the Leon County Research Development Authority, President of the
Wakulla Chamber of Commerce, and Vice Chair of Economic Vitality. Currently, she
serves on the Board of Trustees for Omicron Delta Kappa, The Myers-Briggs Company
Customer Advisory Board, Rutgers University Hidden Innovation Advisory Board, Chair
of MakerUSA, and the Association of Change Management Professionals Digital
Learning Committee.
