Women To Watch 2024 honoree Nakisha Dixon

Nakisha Dixon is a strategic human resources executive turned consulting leader with over

seventeen years of experience driving organizational effectiveness and transformational

change. She built her career as a human resources leader within the private equity space,

where she partnered closely with portfolio company executives and investors to align talent

strategy with business performance. Known for her ability to navigate complex business

transformations, Nakisha provided hands-on leadership across the full spectrum of HR,

with a particular focus on leadership development, organizational design, and change

management. Today, she brings that operational expertise to her role in human capital

consulting, advising senior leaders on scalable, high-impact people strategies. Nakisha is

especially passionate about cultivating inclusive, high-performance cultures and designing

talent programs that drive engagement, collaboration, and retention.

Nakisha is currently a Senior Principal, Management Consultant for Helios HR, at NFP

Company. Prior to that role she led human resources globally for Vercara (formerly Neustar

Security Services) a cybersecurity firm, through their successful acquisition by DigiCert in

2024. Before that role she was the Chief Operations Officer for Virtual Enterprise

Architects, an award-winning government contracting firm based out of Washington, D.C.


Dixon holds a bachelor’s degree in management science from Kean University, a master’s

degree in human resource management from the University of Connecticut and is a

graduate of the Chief Human Resources Officer Program from the Wharton School of the

University of Pennsylvania. She also holds various human resources and leadership

coaching certifications such as, Senior Certified Professional of Human Resources from

the Human Resources Certification Institute, Senior Certified Professional from the Society

of Human Resource Management, and Associate Certified Coach for the International

Coach Federation.
