Women To Watch 2025 honoree Carmelita Reid

Carmelita Reid, MBA, is a respected healthcare leader and a Certified John C. Maxwell Leadership Trainer, Facilitator, Mentor, Coach, and Speaker. With 29 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in supply chain, manufacturing, and patient/customer service, she has focused on skills and cultural development, and arrange a mentor/mentee program. Carmelita is enthusiastic about helping, mentoring, training, and coaching students and professionals to reach their full potential.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Columbia College of Missouri and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Carmelita is launching a leadership development business offering training and coaching programs based on the John C. Maxwell curriculum. Her vision includes providing lunch-and-learns, mini-workshops, and weekend training sessions to schools, organizations, churches, and community groups.

In 2025, she plans to self-publish her leadership handbook, "Bold Leadership", which explores Inspiration, Aspiration, Self-Awareness, and Bold Leadership.

Carmelita is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA), a mentor for College Bound Organization (CBO), Cristo Reyes of St. Martin, and a leadership coach for Braven Organization and previously served with Women of Leaders in Action (WLA).

Her interests include traveling, reading, networking, attending church, and speaking to college students and families. She looks forward to connecting with individuals and organizations seeking leadership development.
