Black Leaders Worldwide honors Leah Carter, 2026 Women To Watch Awards

Leah Carter is a serial entrepreneur, business strategist, author, speaker, and one of today’s most compelling voices in Black women's economic empowerment and generational wealth. As a single mother with no investors and no support, Leah built three successful businesses from the ground up and turned what once seemed impossible into a blueprint for other Black women to follow. Through Leah Carter Inc. and the She Deserves Millions™ movement, Leah is committed to ensuring Black women have everything they need to stop surviving and start owning their income, their businesses, and their lives.

Her story begins in Alberta, Canada, where her family was among the 100 pioneering Black settler families who migrated from Oklahoma in the early 1900s, escaping Jim Crow laws in pursuit of freedom, land ownership, and a future Canada promised but America denied.

She is the granddaughter of the late Velma Carter, a celebrated educator, entrepreneur, historian, author, and keeper of Black Canadian history, and the daughter of LeVero Carter, a former Black Panther whose success in real estate development made him one of Alberta's first Black millionaires.

Their legacy instilled in Leah a belief she carries into everything she does: real success is measured by what you leave behind for those who come next. After years of being undervalued, underpaid, and underestimated in the corporate world as a Black woman, Leah made a defining choice: she would stop knocking on closed doors and create her own, then equip as many Black women as she could to walk through them.

Today, She Deserves Millions is a growing force dedicated to helping thousands of Black women entrepreneurs around the globe generate additional revenue streams, launch profitable businesses, and build wealth, independence, and legacy on their own terms.

Her signature Million Dollar Mindset Method™ teaches one principle: wealth doesn’t start with money. It starts in the mind. Her mission is to put financial power and opportunity into the hands of Black women who are ready to rise and change the world.

If you’re ready to build income, ownership, and legacy, this is your next step. She Deserves Millions. And so do you.
