Men To Watch 2025 honoree Juno Nigel Oosterwolde

Juno Nigel Oosterwolde is the Founder of Niost International Group and a builder of transformational projects across finance, education, and logistics. His life’s mission is to create global impact by giving others the opportunities he never had.

Juno was born in Suriname, to a Surinamese mother and a French father. He grew up facing real challenges — not just economic, but emotional and systemic. At the age of 17, he left everything behind and moved to Europe in search of a better tomorrow. That journey, filled with sacrifice and resilience, shaped the man he is today.

Juno refused to be defined by his beginnings. Instead, he used them as fuel to create lasting change. Juno is currently building NIGUOST BANK, a digital bank in the making, designed to accelerate financial inclusion for underserved communities across Latin America and the Caribbean.

He also lead initiatives such as Niost Study Gateway, giving youth access to modern education and development, the Niost South Sea Terminal, a strategic logistics project for the region, and leads the Independent gambling commission of Suriname ( IGCOS).

What drives Juno is not ego or status — it’s a calling rooted in justice, empowerment, and compassion. He believes in fair access to capital, knowledge, and opportunity, especially for communities long ignored by traditional systems.
