Black Leaders Worldwide honors Maman Ibrahim Miet, 2026 Men To Watch Awards

Maman Ibrahim is a seasoned cyber and digital risk governance, audit, and assurance leader with over 20 years of experience helping global organisations uncover their most critical risks and implement high-impact mitigations without waste. He has led senior programmes across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and business services, with career chapters at Michelin, GSK, and Haleon where he owned and shaped information security, data privacy, data ethics, and cybersecurity assurance during periods of rapid transformation.

Maman works with boards and executive teams to turn cyber from noise into decision-grade clarity. He focuses on the mechanics that build confidence when scrutiny rises. Governance that holds under stress. Risk narratives that land in boardrooms. Assurance that improves the system, not just the slide deck. His work spans cyber strategy, third-party and supply chain risk, operational resilience, incident learning loops, and responsible AI governance, with a strong emphasis on culture. His view is practical. Controls don’t fail first. People do, systems second, and stories last. That is why he builds operating rhythms leaders can run. Clear risk appetite. Explicit decisions. Evidence that holds up later.

He founded DiamondSoul, where he works with senior cyber, risk, audit, and IT leaders operating under board and regulatory scrutiny. He helps them move from vague risk to measurable resilience by installing a repeatable operating rhythm that turns risk work into board confidence, fundable decisions, and evidence that holds under pressure.

He is Principal Partner at EugeneZonda, a cybersecurity consulting firm, and Founder of Ginkgo Resilience LTD. In these roles, he helps organisations move from compliance-heavy programmes to resilience-led execution, aligning security investment to business outcomes and making risk work fundable. His leadership has delivered major commercial impact, including more than £150 million in savings through risk-driven negotiation, cost optimisation, and third-party oversight.

Maman is also deeply active in the global cybersecurity community. He contributes to professional bodies and initiatives including CIISec, the UK Cyber Security Council, ISACA (ISC)², PMI, and the Cloud Security Alliance. He has supported industry capability building as an IT Audit Advisory Member of ISACA and by volunteering to develop CISSP and CCSP exam question banks. He also contributes to emerging practice, including the OWASP Top 10 Agentic AI Security Risks project and the World Economic Forum’s Cyber Resilience Compass.

Known for a calm, exacting approach, Maman helps leaders move from heroic scramble to repeatable performance. He is fluent in French and brings board-level committee experience, with a facilitation-first style that cuts through complexity, aligns leadership, and embeds security as a mindset rather than a checklist.

His executive education reflects the same breadth and discipline. He completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, the Digital Transformation Strategist Program at École Polytechnique (X) in Paris, and MIT IDSS’s program on data science and machine learning for decision-making. He has also completed cyber resilience and strategy programmes with the Cyber Leadership Institute, advanced cloud security training with SANS, and negotiation training through Harvard’s Program on Negotiation.
