Women To Watch 2024 honoree Shayla Ellington

Shayla Ellington is a Sickle Cell Warrior, but she refuses to let that hold her back or stop her shine. She strives to excel in everything she does. As a recent graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a pre-health focus and a minor in Social Justice, Shayla has been able to join Pfizer and support their clinical trial vaccines team. She strives to improve health equity and decrease health disparities. She is also the owner of 2 businesses: Shaymless Beauty and Custom Cosmetics Inc. Shayla is also hoping to further her education and pursue a Masters later this year. She loves paying it forward by advocating for her fellow Sickle Cell Warriors, and takes pride mentoring future leaders.
