Women To Watch 2024 honoree Sheriee Davis


Sheriee Davis is an accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning education, law, finance, and community engagement. She graduated with honors from Quabbin Regional High School in Barre, MA, and earned her B.A. in Political Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Clark Atlanta University. During her time at Clark Atlanta University, Sheriee completed an internship with former Senator Sam Nunn and was awarded a scholarship from the Ty Cobb Foundation.


Continuing her academic journey, Sheriee successfully balanced work, education, and family

responsibilities while attending the Georgia State University College of Law part-time program, earning her Juris Doctorate. Once completing law school, Sheriee worked as a judicial clerk with the Dekalb County Superior Court.


Transitioning into the corporate world, Sheriee embarked on a 13-year tenure with a national restaurant chain, where she ascended from a server to a regional accounting operations manager. This hands-on experience in accounting, coupled with her educational and administrative expertise, uniquely positioned Sheriee as a seasoned executive capable of understanding and managing the financial, administrative, and managerial aspects of small to mid-sized businesses.


Currently serving as the CFO at The JME Group, LLC, a joint venture airport concessions company, Sheriee plays a pivotal role in strategic financial decision-making and operational oversight. Her responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, preparing and presenting financial reports, and managing day-to-day administrative, human resources, and payroll functions.


Outside of her professional endeavors, Sheriee is actively involved in community service and leadership roles. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., serves as a Board Member on the J.M. Tull Gwinnett Family YMCA Community Engagement Board, volunteered at PAWS Atlanta, and participated in the Snellville Police Department Citizens Police Academy. Ms. Davis is also an Advocate with OnBoard, Inc. as well as a member of the Chief Financial Officer Leadership Council.


Beyond her professional and community engagements, Sheriee is a certified yoga instructor and passionate about health and wellness. She provides yoga instruction to the baseball team and various sports coaches at Morehouse College, reflecting her commitment to encouraging physical activity and holistic well-being. Additionally, Sheriee is set to receive a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School Executive Education upon completing their Chief Financial Officer Program in

Spring 2025.
