Women To Watch 2025 honoree Toni M. Shelton

Toni M. Shelton., Denver native who grew up in the Park Hill neighborhood, with family roots in Texas. She has been fortunate to pursue her passion in the Learning and Development Industry for 20+ years, with emphasis on Leadership Coaching, Training and Mentoring.
Toni attended Texas Southern University, an HBCU for several years. She graduated from Capella University, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Leadership. Toni had the honor of serving our country in the United States Air Force Reserves for 6+ years and received the Meritorious Service Medal during her enlistment.
Toni currently holds the position of Manager, in the Office of Professional Development, Facility Management Department, for Denver Public Schools. This is where her talents and gifts are truly utilized in the coaching, mentoring, leading and the development of others. She has the honor of being a Mentor and Coach to several leaders and colleagues within her organization.
Within the community of Colorado, her activism includes as the current Board Vice President for ZING Credit Union; current Chair of WIN (Women In NAACP) CO, WY, MT State Conference; Current Grant Administrator for the Banister Family Fund and Grand Design Inc.; former 1st Vice President of the Aurora Branch NAACP; former Strategic Advisor to Restoration Christian Fellowship Ministries & The First & previous Board Chair for the Struggle of Love Foundation.
She holds joy in her faith, traveling, music, reading, and social activities with family and friends!
