Women To Watch Awards 2026 honors Nichelle Brown

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Nichelle Brown's professional journey began long before becoming the CEO of Children’s Therapy Center. With her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University, Nichelle was able to develop a strong foundation in understanding Children, Families, and systems. She later earned her Master’s degree in Education from Temple University, specializing in Adult Organizational Development—an experience that shaped her passion for leadership, learning, and organizational growth.

Over the past 15 years, Nichelle’s work has crossed both East and now West coast, grounded in a deep commitment to children, families, and the communities that support them. She has spent her career focused on creating environments where families can thrive and where organizations are equipped to serve with clarity, purpose, and impact.

Whether its mentoring emerging leaders, helping organizations rethink and create how they structure leadership roles and programming, or working alongside teams to turn ideas into sustainable solutions, her focus on practical, skill-based approaches that empower individuals to lead with confidence is her passion.

At the heart of everything she does is a belief that meaningful change happens when we invest in both people and systems. She is proud to lead with that mindset, and to continue working toward a future where nonprofits are not only mission-driven, but also resilient, effective, and transformative.
