Pamela R Haynes DipSW, DipHE, BA, FRSA, MCGI, is a distinguished author, educator, humanitarian, podcaster, and TEDx speaker whose work sits at the crossroads of leadership, storytelling, and social justice. With more than 20 years of experience in the criminal justice system as a Senior Probation Officer, Pamela has dedicated her career to supporting survivors of domestic abuse and advocating for women and girls. Her frontline experience directly informs her powerful novels, Loving the Brothers and Loving the Sisters, which shed light on the complexities of domestic violence and the vital often overlooked role of the probation service in safeguarding victims.
Pamela's literary and humanitarian impact has earned her numerous accolades, including the Lift Effects Star Award, Powerhouse Global Women’s Award, Divas of Colour Author of the Year, Extraordinary Achievers Humanitarian Award, BLAC Services to Writing Award, and the Caribbean Global Award for Global Outreach Service. In 2026, she was honoured as a recipient of the inaugural Black Leaders Worldwide Women to Watch Award, cementing her status as a global changemaker.
As the founder of The Author 2 Author Podcast, Pamela champions self-published authors from around the world. The show enjoys a global audience across 20+ streaming platforms, international radio stations, and has been shortlisted for multiple podcast awards. Pamela’s dedication to elevating emerging voices extends to her academic work; she serves as a Research Fellow at the University of East London, contributing to research focused on inequality, community justice, and social transformation.
